Sonoma Valley Education Foundation (SVEF) exists to promote excellence in our Sonoma Valley public schools.

SVEF was founded in 1993 by a group of concerned parents and community leaders.

SVEF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting excellence in our Sonoma Valley public schools.

SVEF has recently refocused its vision to be a leader in program driven educational support  by creating and fostering community in our schools, by providing significant and sustainable programs, in partnership with Sonoma Valley Unified School District and in concert with their strategic plan.

Our Vision is to create and support an enriched educational and community environment where all Sonoma Valley children may thrive, grow, and become productive proud members of their community, the nation, and the world.

    An epicurean event unlike any other, Sonoma Wine Country Weekend combines the elegance, sophistication, and style of the Sonoma County Showcase of Wine and Food with the festivity, frivolity and fundraising of the Sonoma Valley Harvest Wine Auction for three unforgettable days of celebration.
  • Learn about Visual Thinking Strategies
    Visual Thinking Strategies is an innovative program that uses fine art images to develop vocabulary and literacy skills. The program is sponsored by SVEF and is currently being offered in several elementary schools.
